WINGATE, N.C. – The Emory & Henry University Women's Cross Country Team finished their season on Saturday, finishing 16th at the 2025 Division II Southeast Region Cross Country Championships. The meet took place at Wingate's XC facility in Wingate, North Carolina, that was hosted by Wingate University.

The Results – Women's 6K
- Junior Kennedy Harris (Mineral, Va.) led the way for the Wasps as she picked up a 38th-place finish in 23:43. Senior Elise McKinney (Church Hill, Tenn.) finished in 69th with her time of 24:25. Junior Maya Turner (Midland, Va.) stopped the clock at 26:26 to place 120th.
- Sophomore Tess Somervell(Chilhowie, Va.) was 122nd in 26:31 while Junior Hannah Rosen (Falls Church, Va.) placed 146th in 27:44. Junior McKenzie Tate (Wytheville, Va.)finished 153rd with her time of 28:07.
- Freshman Lilia Yanez (El Paso, Texas) completed the course in 29:04 to round it out placing 161st.
The Winners
- Catawba University's Madison Clay won first covering the course in 21:17, beating Anderson University's Kennedy Roush by just 13 seconds.
- The Bulldogs came in first as a team, with five of its runners finished in the top 10. Catawba College was the runner-up, placing four runners in the top 10.
