TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. – The Emory & Henry University Women's Soccer Team (2-0) continued its winning ways as the Wasps earned another non-conference road win, this time against Toccoa Falls College (0-2). E&H tallied three goals in the first half and added six more in the second as they rolled to a 9-2 victory over the Screaming Eagles. The Wasps finished with 45 shots, which is the most in a game since E&H fired 59 attempts in a 8-0 win over Sweet Briar College in the 2018 season. 31 of those attempts found the target, the most in a single contest since recording 34 shots on goal against Hollins University during the 2014 season.

How It Happened
- Junior midfielder Abbie Smith (Virginia Beach, Va.) opened up the scoring for the Wasps as she buried a shot on an assist from senior defender Olivia DaSilva (Newton, N.J.) to make it 1-0. Junior forward Siena Booth (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) doubled the lead later in the half on an unassisted goal and DaSilva rounded out the first-half scoring for E&H with a goal on an assist from senior forward Kaleea Scales (Maryville, Tenn.). Toccoa Falls would tally one score before the break as the score stood at 3-1 at the midway point.
- Booth added her second goal of the evening to begin the second frame on a helper from junior forward Lexi McNamee (Chesapeake, Va.) to push the Emory & Henry advantage out to 4-1. Junior forward/midfielder Charlotte Stavis (Charlotte, N.C.) struck next, assisted by freshman midfielder/defender Riley Duba (Chesapeake, Va.) and added another moments later unassisted to balloon the margin to 6-1. Junior forward Hana Kirsch (Powell, Tenn.) got in on the scoring parade with her first of the season on an assist from junior forward Nicole Jimenez (Manassas, Va.) and Jimenez scored a goal of her own on a helper from sophomore midfielder Cristina Ciofani (Oakville, Ontario, CANADA) for the 8-1 advantage. Scales put a cap on the win with her first goal of the season. The Screaming Eagles scored once more to send the game to its final score at 9-2.
Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Booth and Stavis led the charge offensively for the Wasps as each recorded a brace of goals. DaSilva, Scales and Jimenez all finished with one goal and an assist while Kirsch and Smith had the other two scores.
- Junior goalkeeper Sophia Wagner (Front Royal, Va.) got the start in goal and senior goalkeeper Adriana Rehg (Talbott, Tenn.) came in for the final 35 minutes as the two combined for a pair of saves in the win.
