EMORY, VA. – The Emory & Henry Women's Wrestling Team fell to Lincoln Memorial 34-23 on Senior Day.

The Match

- The Wasps honored their 5 Seniors, Madison Wilson, Eryn Hubble, Ella Tallent, Ava Thomas, and Emma Lozada, prior to the beginning of the match. 

- The match began with two double forfeits at 103 and 110, followed by a forfeit victory at 117 for LMU's Madison Northern. The first action of the contest came at 124, which saw Madison Wilson (Henrico, Va.) win her Senior Day bout by technical superiority 10-0 over Riley Flickenger. 

- The next 3 bouts would all end in falls in favor of the visitors from Harrogate, Junior Mak Robinson (Spotsylvania, Va.)  fell to Alyssa Roberts in the final minutes of the second period. Calista Gibson would defeat Kailyn Pond (Disputanta, Va.) in the first period. Molly Keller's (Fairlawn, Va.) bout would last until the last possible moment, which saw Keller pinned by Shonticia Taft with almost no time remaining. 

- The Wasps would get back on the board in the next bout at 160, which saw Sophomore Rihana Carson (Roanoke, Va.) pin Shandrea Morgan in 1:15.The final two weight classes both ended in forfeits, first a double at 180. Then 5th Year Emma Lozada (Princeton, Tx.) would see her hand raised at 207 for a win on her Senior Day.
