EMORY, Va.– The Emory & Henry University Women's Wrestling Team (2-7, 2-3 SACC) faced off against No. 5 King (Tenn.) University (20-3, 6-0 SACC) Tuesday in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas dual action. The Tornado won the dual, 30-20.
E&H celebrated Senior Night prior to the start of the match, honoring senior Skie Rice (Chesterfield, Va.) for her contributions to the program.

The Match
- The match began at a 20-20 tie due to unfilled weight classes.
- Emory & Henry earned forfeit wins as sophomore Molly Keller (Fairlawn, Va.) at 145 pounds, freshman Rihana Carson (Roanoke, Va.) at 160 pounds, Rice at 180 pounds and senior Emma Lozada (Princeton, Texas) at 207 pounds.
- The Tornado got forfeits at 103, 110, 124 and 131 pounds.
- The two weight classes that saw action were 117 pounds and 138 pounds. King's Melanie Mendoza won by fall at 117 while Annabel Garcia pinned her opponent at 138.
