ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Emory & Henry University Women's Indoor Track & Field Team has been picked to finish in a tie for 10th place in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Thursday.

Defending SAC champion Wingate University has been chosen as favorites to repeat as league champions with 10 of the available 12 first-place votes. Lenoir-Rhyne University sits in second with one first-place nod, while Catawba College is third with the other top selection. Tusculum University was picked fourth, while Lincoln Memorial University rounded out the top-five institutions.
Additionally, the SAC has announced its Athletes to Watch List with three E&H athletes earning the nod. Junior distance runner Kennedy Harris (Mineral, Va.), sophomore hurdler, jumper and multi-event athlete Mia Spangler (Floyd, Va.) and sophomore sprinter Aiyana Blakey (Woodbridge, Va.) were all named as athletes to keep your eye on during the 2025-26 season.
The Wasps will continue their winter schedule on Saturday, January 17 at the VMI Team Challenge in Lexington, Virginia.
