NEW ORLEANS, La. – For the second consecutive year, the Emory & Henry University Men's & Women's Track & Field Teams have been recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their accomplishments in the classroom. Both programs received the designation of All-Academic Team for the 2024-25 academic year.

E&H's men were one of nine South Atlantic Conference programs to earn the honor, posting a team GPA of 3.025. Joining Emory & Henry on the list are Anderson (S.C.) University, Catawba College, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Lincoln Memorial University, Mars Hill University, Newberry College, the University of Virginia's College at Wise and Wingate University.
The Wasps' women joined eight other SAC schools as they achieved a 3.418 grade point average. Other conference teams to be honored were Anderson, Catawba, Lenoir-Rhyne, Lincoln Memorial, Mars Hill, Newberry, UVA Wise and Wingate University.
The All-Academic Team award is presented to college and university track & field teams that hold a team cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The USTFCCCA honors teams from each of the NCAA's three divisions.
Additionally, Emory & Henry junior thrower Gavin Lee (North Tazewell, Va.) was honored as a 2025 NCAA Division II Track & Field USTFCCCA Men's All-Academic Athlete. This award is given to all nominated student-athletes who achieve a minimum 3.25 GPA and finish the season among the top 50 in the country in their respective event.
