The offense continued to shine for E&H, on their next possession Junior Emma Falatic (Roanoke, Va.) picked the ball up from the ruck and scampered 60 yards into the try zone, the conversion kick was sent through the uprights by Gracie Wall (Winder, Ga.) to give the Wasps a 12-0 advantage over the visitors from Greensboro. Guilford put together a scoring run of their own, the Quakers hit paydirt 3 times over the next 20 minutes to take a 17-12 lead over E&H. The Wasps would respond when Madison Hunt (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) bobbed and weaved through the Quaker defense to level the match at 17 all, a successful conversion kick put Emory & Henry back on top 19-17. The Quakers offense broke through the Wasps' defense twice in the final minutes of the first half to grow their lead 27-19 heading into the halftime intermission.
- The Wasps hit the ground running to begin the second half. Freshman Jordan Hill-Phillips (Corning, N.Y.) drew first blood when she barreled through 3 Quaker defenders for the try. Kaitlyn Oliver added another try when she scooped the kickoff and brought it all the way down the pitch to Quakers on their heels, the kick was good. On the ensuing Guilford drive the Quakers stepped out of bounds and The Wasps won the line out and Kayla Spiegel (Jersey City, N.J.) out ran the Quaker defense to find the promised land. The kick was good to expand the Emory & Henry lead 40-27. Spiegel would once again receive the ball and find paydirt for the Wasps. Guilford would respond with a try of their own to cut into the Emory & Henry lead 45-32. On their next possession Sophomore Nathaly Olivera (Charlotte, N.C.) offloaded the ball to Novella Henry who turned on the jets getting into the try zone one more time. The Wasps defense swarmed on the next Quaker possession, and taking advantage of a knock-on Spiegel would tack on another try, the conversion kick would be good to put the match out of reach. The two teams would go back and forth for the remaining minutes with Guilford getting in the try zone a couple more times. The final score for the Wasps came when Kaitlyn Oliver planted the ball in the try zone for insurance.
