EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry University Men's Wrestling Team (0-10, 0-7 Carolinas) dropped a Conference Carolinas home dual to the University of Montevallo (7-1, 6-1 Carolinas) inside the Martin-Brock Student Center Tuesday evening. The Falcons picked up the win by a final score of 56-0.

The Match
- The dual began at 24-0 in favor of the Falcons due to forfeits by the Wasps at 125, 133, 157 and 197 pounds.
- Junior Gavin Warner (Draper, Va.) was pinned in 1:04 by Kaden Brown at 141 pounds.
- Freshman Isaac Hensley (Vilas, N.C.) was defeated by a 17-2 technical fall in 2:52 by No. 15 nationally-ranked Maximos Stedeford at the 149-pound weight class.
- Junior Sebastian Gabarrete (Jeffersonton, Va.) battled at 165 pounds against Jakob Chisolm, tying the match up just before time expired, but Chisolm earned the narrow 8-7 decision due to riding time.
- Freshman Colton Lewis (Tarboro, N.C.) was defeated by pinfall by Aiden Knight in 2:21 at 174 pounds.
- Freshman Raul Lopez-Aguilar (Ronda, N.C.) put up a fight against Jeffery Tubbs at 184 pounds, but was eventually pinned in 4:10.
- Freshman Daniel Silver (Scotland Neck, N.C.) was pinned in 1:13 by Willie Cox at the 285-pound weight class.
