EMORY, Va. – Emory & Henry University Head Men's Wrestling Coach Jeramiah Hampton is pleased to announce the first three signees of the 2025 recruiting class. The trio, each of whom hail from the state of North Carolina, boasts more than 430 individual wins, five trips to the NCHSAA State Championship Tournament and a state title.
Luke Osborne is from Ashe County High School in West Jefferson, North Carolina. He holds the Huskies' career record with more than 170 victories and is currently 39-0 at 150 pounds. A regional champion and two-time state qualifier, Osborne won the NCHSAA 3A State Championship at 144 pounds. He is a double qualifier for Fargo Junior Nationals and is the No. 9-ranked college prospect in North Carolina.
Landen Wilson also attends Ashe County High School and has won more than 90 career bouts. He is a four-time all-conference wrestler and a three-time regional qualifier. Wilson is currently wrestling at 113 pounds and is projected to compete at 125 pounds for the Wasps.
Colton Lewis wrestles for Northeast Carolina Preparatory School in Tarboro. He is a three-time state qualifier with a 172-23 record including 90 victories by pin. The 113-pound NCHSAA 1A East Region Champion and a third-place finisher at the state meet a year ago, Lewis is the top-ranked wrestler at 120 pounds.
Emory & Henry Men's Wrestling will announce additional members of the 2025 recruiting class following the spring signing period.
