DALLAS, Texas – For the first time in program history, the Emory & Henry College Men's Wrestling Team has seen two of its members earn a national ranking from the National Collegiate Wrestling Association.
Sophomore Wade Wheeler (Amherst, Va.) is currently the No. 6 heavyweight in the NCWA. while freshman Levi Field (Manassas, Va.) is ranked 12th at the 157-pound weight class.
Wheeler holds a 10-10 overall record with five wins coming by fall, two by decision and another by major decision. Field's season record stands at 16-14 with nine victories by fall, two by decision and one each by major decision and technical fall.
Emory & Henry will next compete at the State Supremacy Duels, hosted by James Madison University on Sunday, February 6.
