ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry University Softball Team has earned the #7 seed for the upcoming South Atlantic Conference Tournament, league officials announced Saturday evening. This marks the first time that any E&H team has qualified for the conference championship since joining the SAC prior to the 2022-23 campaign.

E&H (31-19) tied its third-best regular-season win total in program history on its way to its first-ever trip to the SAC Tournament. The Wasps posted a 12-12 record in league play, finishing in a three-way tie for seventh place.

As the #7 seed in the tournament, Emory & Henry will travel to face second-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne University in a best-of-three series April 25-26. The winner of that series will join three other opening weekend victors in the championship bracket at the highest remaining seed with games being played May 1-3.
