EMORY, Va. - Emory & Henry College Head Softball Coach Tommy Forrester and his staff have announced the committment of the College's 2021 recruiting class as part of National Signing Day. The class is made up of six student-athletes, four from Virginia and two from Florida, who will join the team in the fall of 2021.

"We are very excited about the 2021 class," said Forrester. "Olivia Yates, Grace Harper, and MaKayla Dowdy are strong in the circle and complement each other well. All three can also contribute with the bat and play other positions. Mackenzie Williams brings a strong lefty bat and speed to the mix while Lydia Taylor and Reece Chasteen are elite power hitters. The future looks bright off Exit 26!"

These student-athletes have either paid a deposit or signed a letter of intent to attend Emory & Henry College in the fall of 2021. Additional members of this year's recruiting class will be announced as they commit.
