On Tuesday evening, due to unforeseen circumstances, NCAA officials decided to change the regional site. Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia will now serve as the regional host. Friday's game times will remain the same with Emory & Henry facing Emory at 4:30 p.m. . Information will be released as soon as it is made available.
Information regarding the regional will also be posted at www.PiedmontLions.com as it becomes available.
For Saturday's game, fans are encouraged to arrive early and allow plenty of extra time for parking and walking to the Walker Athletic Complex as Piedmont will be having its annual Commencement exercises in the Mize Center adjacent to the softball field.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team will make its second appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament in the past three years. The Wasps learned their fate during the NCAA's online selection show on Monday afternoon.
The field of 62 teams will be split into 16 regionals with 14 four-team sites and two three-team sites. Tournament action for the Demorest Regional will begin on Friday, May 10 continuing through Sunday, May 12 at Piedmont College's Walker Athletic Complex.
E&H will take on regional top-seed Emory University in the first round Friday at 4:30 p.m. The other side of the regional sees USA South Athletic Conference runner-up and host Piedmont College facing Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference champion Transylvania University.
E&H carries a 26-16 record into national tournament play after finishing second in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference regular season (14-6) and fourth in the ODAC Tournament.

Other teams from the league earning a bid into the tournament are two-time defending National Champion Virginia Wesleyan University, University of Lynchburg and Randolph-Macon College. VWU will host a regional which will also include Lynchburg while Randolph-Macon will travel to The College of New Jersey.
Additionally, the NCAA released the final Regional Rankings for the year late Monday. The Atlantic Region saw a pair of flips in the top nine with Birmingham-Southern College jumping Lynchburg and Maryville (Tenn.) College leaping Piedmont.
