ROCK HILL, S.C. - Emory & Henry University freshman forward Jean-Charles Eyidi (Briollay, FRANCE) has been selected as the South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for week five. This year, the SAC Player of the Week is sponsored by WePlayed Sports.

Eyidi recorded a pair of goals and an assist to help the Wasps to a 2-0 record during the previous week. Jean-Charles assisted Noah Serwy's game-winning tally in a 1-0 victory over Carson-Newman on Wednesday, before recording a brace of second-half goals to lift the Wasps to a 3-1 win over previously-unbeaten Coker on Saturday evening.
This is the second consecutive week that an Emory & Henry Men's Soccer player has been selected Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after junior forward Mila Mzamane (Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA) received the honor for week four.
Emory & Henry (4-3-2, 3-1-1 SAC) is off this week before returning to the pitch on Wednesday, October 15 when the Wasps travel to take on the Pioneers of Tusculum University. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. as the second game of a doubleheader with the women's program.
