ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Soccer Team has been picked to finish 12th in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Tuesday.

Last year, Emory & Henry posted a 4-10 schedule winning two of its final three matches. The Wasps also had three one-goal defeats on the year. E&H returns 14 players and six starters from last year's squad, and welcomes 17 new players including a trio of transfers, all of whom will be looked upon to make an immediate impact on the team.
Carson-Newman University, the reigning SAC Regular Season Champion is first in the poll with seven of 12 first-place votes. Lenoir-Rhyne sits in second with four top nods while Limestone University and Coker University round out the top four. Wingate University earned the final first-place selection in seventh.
Additionally, the SAC has announced its Preseason All-Conference Teams with E&H senior forward Nino Egli (Maseltragen, SWITZERLAND) and junior midfielder Louis Pereira-Scott (Glasgow, SCOTLAND) earning third-team selections.
Emory & Henry opens the year on Saturday, August 27 at Warren Wilson College. Kickoff between the Wasps and Owls is set for 2:00 p.m.
