EMORY, Va. – Emory & Henry University Head Men's Basketball Coach Jimmy Allen is excited to release information about the 2025-26 season. The Wasps' roster consists of 19 players with seven returners, nine transfers and three freshmen.
Joining the team this year are senior transfer Yaturi Bolton (Charleston, S.C.), junior transfers Jaden Andrew (St. John's, ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA), Isaac Cubero (San Ramon, COSTA RICA), Marial Diper (Rumbek, SOUTH SUDAN), Trenten Gerald (Charlotte, N.C.), Jalen Smith (San Antonio, Texas) and Ryan Steger (Buchanan, Va.), sophomore transfer Isaac Hymes (Phoenix, Ariz.), redshirt freshman transfer Brock Rose (Charlotte, N.C.), and freshmen Cross Arias (Maiden, N.C.), Melchior Hughes (Geneva, SWITZERLAND) and Donnie Morris (Tampa, Fla.).

This year, E&H will play a regular season schedule of 28 games. The South Atlantic Conference season has expanded to a full double round-robin of 22 contests, and the Wasps will play six non-conference contests.

The Wasps travel to Francis Marion University for the Southeast Region Crossover Tournament to kick off the season. On Friday, November 14 E&H will face the University of South Carolina at Beaufort and will close out competition on Saturday, November 15 against Flagler College.
Emory & Henry continues non-conference play at border rival King (Tenn.) University (Wed., Nov. 19), before traveling to Eastern North Carolina for the Pickle Classic hosted by the University of Mount Olive. The Wasps will face off against Barton College (Fri., Nov. 21) and the host Trojans (Sat., Nov. 22) over the weekend.
The Wasps jump into SAC action on Saturday, November 29 at home against Anderson (S.C.), then hit the road to open December for back-to-back contests at Lenoir-Rhyne University (Sat., Dec. 6) and at Southwest Virginia rival UVA Wise (Wed., Dec. 10). E&H returns home for a showdown against Newberry College on Saturday, December 13 then rounds out the calendar year at Lincoln Memorial (Wed., Dec. 17) and at Catawba College (Sat., Dec. 20).
Emory & Henry briefly steps out of SAC play after the Christmas holidays when they host Johnson C. Smith University (Fri., Jan. 2). The Wasps will play three of the next four SAC contests at home as they host Carson-Newman University (Wed., Jan. 7) and visit Coker University (Sat., Jan. 10), before returning to the friendly confines of the John Rutledge King Center for games against Mars Hill University (Wed., Jan. 14) and Wingate University (Sat., Jan. 17). E&H will end the month of January with road games at Tusculum (Wed., Jan. 21) and Anderson (Sat., Jan. 24) before hosting Lincoln Memorial (Wed., Jan. 28) and Lenoir-Rhyne (Sat., Jan. 31).
February kicks off with a pair of road contests at Mars Hill (Wed., Feb. 4) and Newberry (Sat., Feb. 7), then return trips for UVA Wise (Wed., Feb. 11) and Catawba (Sat., Feb. 14). The Wasps will be on the road for its final two away games of the regular season at Carson-Newman (Wed., Feb. 18) and Wingate (Sat., Feb. 21), before returning home to wrap up the 2025-26 schedule against Tusculum (Wed., Feb. 25) and Coker (Sat., Feb. 28).
The South Atlantic Conference Tournament will be played between Wednesday, March 4 and Saturday, March 7 at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
