EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry University Football Team and Head Coach Quintin Hunter are excited to announce this year's class of signees.
This class, made up of 33 incoming freshmen and a pair of transfers, hails from four different states. Virginia is the most-represented state with 20 signees, followed by North Carolina (11), Tennessee (three) and New York (one).
There are 19 incoming players projected to play on the offensive side of the ball, 14 on defense and a pair of specialists.
This past fall, Emory & Henry posted a 9-2 record and finished second in the South Atlantic Conference Mountain Division at 6-2. Picked to finish tenth overall in the league, the Wasps ended the year tied for fourth. E&H picked up marquee wins over No. 6 nationally-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne and No. 17 nationally-ranked Carson-Newman, as well as thrashing Southwest Virginia rival the University of Virginia's College at Wise by a 62-14 margin.
