Intermont Equestrian IDA Takes Second At Virginia Tech Sunday

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry University IDA Team opened the 2025-26 season as the reserve high point team at Virginia Tech.

Sunday's Basics
TEAM PLACE – 2nd/6
LOCATION – Christiansburg, Virginia
VENUE – Flanigan Stables

First Level
Junior Anna Norton (Charlotte, N.C.) started the day with a fifth-place finish with 65.303%

Upper Training Level
Junior Cetari White-Anderson (Clatskanie, OR) claimed third place with her ride, earning a 72.2414%

Lower Training Level
Junior Bailey Shive (Hot Springs, Ark.) placed fifth with a 67.1154% in a competitive class.

Introductory Level
Junior Eva Packman (Spotsylvania, Va.) made her IDA debut a good one, earning a 74.6875% and a first-place finish in Intro. She also finished High-Point rider of the Day.

The Awards
Virginia Tech won the show with 17 points while the Wasps were Reserve High-Point Team, scoring a team total of 13 points.

Packman was the High-Point Rider of the Day.

Dressage Seat Equitation
In her Collegiate Debut, freshman Téa Fuller (Little Valley, N.Y.) was third in Upper Training 

Junior Norah Jones (Buchanan, Va) made her IDA debut and took first place in Lower Training 

Finishing off the day, sophomore Sierra Carson (Pasadena, Md) placed first in the Introductory Level, kicking off her collegiate career.

The Wasps will host the next IDA show at home on November 8th and 9th.
