Matt Kardulis is entering his first year as an Assistant Football Coach at Emory & Henry College. This season, Kardulis will lead the Wasps’ stable of running backs.

Kardulis returns to his alma mater after spending the 2016 season as a graduate assistant at Frostburg State University. While with the Bobcats, he coached a safeties unit which ranked first in the NJAC defensively and fourth in NCAA Division III for passing yardage allowed. FSU posted a 10-1 overall record and a co-NJAC Championship en route to a win over St. John Fisher College in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl.

In addition to his on-field duties, Kardulis was responsible for breaking down film from both practices and games and created scouting reports for Frostburg State. He was also tasked as the head recruiter for Central Virginia, Central Maryland and Delaware.

Kardulis was a four-year letterwinner for Emory & Henry from 2011-15 and was named Special Teams MVP as a junior. He earned multiple academic awards and was named to the NFF’s Hampshire Honor Society as a senior.

Kardulis earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from E&H in 2015 and received a Master of Arts in education from the College in 2016.
