LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team advances one spot this week to No. 19 in NCAA Division III by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association, NFCA officials announced Wednesday.

E&H (12-2, 2-0 ODAC) opened Old Dominion Athletic Conference play on Tuesday with a doubleheader sweep of Guilford College. The Wasps remain one of three schools from the league to be ranked in Top 25 of Division III as Virginia Wesleyan University retakes sole possession of the No. 2 spot and Randolph-Macon College moves into a tie for 22nd this week.

Linfield College is No. 1 for a second week in a row while Texas Lutheran University and Christopher Newport University each move up one spot to third and fourth, respectively. East Texas Baptist University falls three places to round out the top five.

Previous Emory & Henry opponent Transylvania University remains 13th this week after being ranked as high as 10th earlier this season.

Emory & Henry will host Roanoke College in an ODAC doubleheader on Tuesday, April 6 at 3:00 p.m.
