LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the second-straight week, the Emory & Henry College Softball Team is ranked 20th in NCAA Division III by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The Wasps hold sole possesion of the spot after being idle last week.

E&H is currently 10-2 on the season and earned wins over then-No. 4 Christopher Newport University and then-No. 11 Transylvania University over the weekend. CNU remains fifth for a second-straight week while Transy fell three places to No. 13.

Emory & Henry is one of three Old Dominion Athletic Conference schools to be mentioned in the poll as Virginia Wesleyan University is T-No. 2 in the country while Randolph-Macon College moves up one place to No. 23.

Linfield College is the new No. 1 in the country, moving up two spots from a week ago. Former No. 1 East Texas Baptist University shares the second spot with VWU while Texas Lutheran University is fourth and CNU is fifth.

Emory & Henry will face Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday on the campus of Benjamin Franklin Middle School in Rocky Mount, Virginia.
