Doug Blevins in entering his sixth season overall and is in his second season of this stint as an Assistant Football Coach for Emory & Henry College. He will continue working with kickers.

An expert on the art of kicking, Blevins is well-known through the country and has been featured multiple times on television including ESPN and NBC.

He served on the coaching staff of the Miami Dolphins for six seasons. Blevins also has coached many NFL kickers, including future Hall of Famer Adam Vinatieri of the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts.

Blevins received his bachelor’s degree from the East Tennessee State University in 1988. A native of Abingdon, Blevins and his wife, Nancy, reside in Galax, Va. The couple has a daughter, Sarah, and Blevins has a son, Roman, by a previous marriage.
