EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Football Team, under ninth-year Head Coach Don Montgomery, has released the details of its 2013 schedule. The slate of opponents is very similar as E&H will play seven games against Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponents and the other three contests against rivals from the USA South Athletic Conference.

The Wasps will open their season at home on Saturday, September 7 against long-time rival Ferrum College. The game will serve as the background for the newest class of inductees to the E&H Sports Hall of Fame.

Maryville (Tenn.) College will make the trip to Southwest Virginia for the first time since 2000 on September 14. Kickoff between the Wasps and Scots is set for 2:00 p.m.

E&H has its first road game on September 21 when it travels to Fayetteville, N.C., to face Methodist University. The Wasps have won six straight against the Monarchs.

After a week off, Emory & Henry will jump into ODAC play with a trip to Randolph-Macon College on October 5.

Two straight home games await the E&H in mid-October. The Generals of Washington and Lee University will square off with the Wasps on Family Weekend, which is set for October 12.

Emory & Henry will face Hampden-Sydney College in the highlight of Homecoming Weekend at Fred Selfe Stadium on October 19.

A trip to Our Nation's Capital will be up next as Emory & Henry takes on Catholic University on October 26.

The Eagles of Bridgewater College will make their way out of the Shenandoah Valley on November 2. The contest will be the final regular season home game for E&H in 2013 and will serve as Senior Day.

For the final two contests of the year, the Wasps will be on the road. On November 9, Emory & Henry will make its first-ever journey to Winchester, Virginia to meet up with Shenandoah University. The Wasps will close out the regular season for the 13th-straight time against the Quakers of Guilford College.

All games (except for the contest against Maryville) are scheduled to kick off at 1:00 p.m. Times and dates are subject to change.
