EMORY, Va. - Due to the excessive amount of rain that has fallen in the last 18 hours, the Emory & Henry College and Ferrum College baseball teams have agreed to cancel their contest scheduled for tonight at 7:00 p.m. The game will not be made up.

E&H's game against Virginia Intermont, orginally scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, which was postponed due to wet field conditions in Bristol, has been officially cancelled.

The Wasps will travel to Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday to take on the Quakers of Guilford College in an important Old Dominion Athletic Conference doubleheader. The pair of games has strong postseason implications, as do many league contests scheduled for this week. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Edgar H. McBane Field.
