Emory & Henry Women’s Basketball Ranked No. 18 By

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – After posting a 1-1 record in a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference games last week, the Emory & Henry College Women's Basketball Team is now ranked No. 18 in the country by E&H is also ranked No. 23 in the nation by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).

The Wasps remain the only team from the ODAC ranked in the Top 25 of NCAA Division III while Randolph-Macon College sits just outside the poll, receiving votes. E&H is currently 6-1 on the year with a 2-1 mark against league opponents.

The top eight teams in the poll remain solid from last week's ranking with Bowdoin College at No. 1. Hope College and St. Thomas (Minn.) University are second and third, respectively while Thomas More and the University of Chicago round out the top five.

The Wasps, who opened the season with seven road games, will finally have the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd Tuesday evening when they host the Panthers of Ferrum College at 7:00 p.m.
