EMORY, Va. - The women's intercollegiate teams of Emory & Henry College in conjunction with the E&H Physical Education Department held the annual All Sports Day For Girls Sunday afternoon on the Emory & Henry campus.

This year was the 16th edition of the event and saw 45 girls of elementary and middle school age attend. Clinics were offered in basketball, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball by the Emory & Henry coaches and members of the Wasps varsity teams.

The purpose of All Sports Day For Girls is to teach young ladies in the community about sports and give the Emory & Henry student-athletes a chance to interact with some of their young fans. It is also a time for the Wasp student-athletes to be able to pay forward some of the support and help in their athletic development which they received as young ladies.
