The Emory & Henry women’s tennis team had a clean sweep in doubles competition against division II Concord University Thursday at the College, winning the match 2-7.
Doubles teams of Jess and Jill Williams and Savanna Tickle and Mallory Lane left Emory & Henry undefeated in doubles competition with scores of 8-4 in both matches.
Savanna Tickle and Kandyce Baker carried on the winning streak in the No. 3 and 4 singles positions. Tickle was victorious in two sets, 6-0, 6-2 as Baker won over her opponent, 6-1, 6-1.
No.1 Jill Williams and No.2 Jess Williams remained strong, but were defeated in both singles matches.
