A very young Emory & Henry women's tennis team capped a successful season with honors for three of its athletes.
Jill Williams, playing at No. 2 singles, was named to the second team All-ODAC after finishing the year 8-7 overall and 6-3 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Also, Kandyce Baker, playing at No. 4, was honored with Second Team recognition after she ended the season 8-5 overall and 6-4 in the conference.
Williams and her twin sister Jessi Wiliams earned Second Team All-ODAC honors in doubles at No. 2. The twins were 14-6 overall and 7-2 in the conference.
The team finished fourth in the ODAC during the regular season with a 6-4 record in the conference and an 11-10 record overall.
Coach Jim Barker expressed strong satisfaction with his team, which is made up entirely of first-year students and sophomores.
