EMORY, Va. (Sept. 13, 2009) -- The Emory & Henry women's soccer team made it three consecutive wins with a close, at-home victory over Peace College.
Loren Favale scored the Wasps winning goal on an assisst from Kellie Flaherty in the 58th minute. That gave the team a 2-1 advantage and ultimately the win.
Nikki Greco scored the first goal for the Wasps at the 13-minute mark.
The only goal for Peace came at 34:37 and was an E&H own goal.
Emory & Henry played more aggressive offense throughout the match, putting together 18 shots, wile Pace managed 8 shots on the day.
Emory & Henry improved to 4-1 and will travel to Ferrum Tuesday.
