The Emory & Henry women's soccer team expanded their record to 6-2 with a 3-0 win over Bluefield College Wednesday.
Three unassisted goals by three different E&H players gave the Wasps the win as they continue on a road of improvement this season.
The team continues to thrive early in the season on the contributions of many of its younger players, which promotes optimism for the rest of the year and the next few seasons.
Sophomore Loren Favale planted the first goal into the net at the 11:25 mark in the game. First-year student Kellie Flaherty notched the second goal midway through the contest. The last goal was scored by Demise Heggins, a first-year student playing forward.
