Coach Baker Anna Baker Baker comes to Emory & Henry from the University of South Carolina Upstate, where she served as assistant women's soccer coach.
She holds a master of science degree in sports administration from the University of North Carolina Pembroke, where she served as a graduate assistant women's soccer coach for two years and as an instructor in the Physical Education Department. She has served as the head coach of the U-14 girls soccer team for the Lumber River Soccer Association since 2005 and led the squad to the 2005 Mid-State Soccer League championship.
Previously, she was an intern working closely with the head soccer coach at Methodist College in 2004. Baker was the head coach of the junior varsity girls' soccer team and the assistant coach of the varsity girls' soccer team at Fayetteville Christian High School and served as head coach of the Fayetteville Force U-13 club soccer team in 2004. She also has been an instructor at several soccer camps, including the camps at Methodist University, the University of Florida, Duke University and UNC Charlotte.
A member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, she holds both an NSCAA National Coaching Diploma as well as the NSCAA Advanced Coaching Diploma.
She holds a bachelor of science degree in sports administration from Methodist University. While at Methodist, she was a four-year starter on the women's soccer team (including three years as captain) and a four-time First-Team All-Conference honoree. She was named All-Conference Player of the Year.
