Emory & Henry Men’s Tennis Forfeits Sunday’s Match With Lynchburg
EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team was forced to forfeit its final Old Dominion Athletic Conference match of the 2013-14 season Sunday. An illness has gone through the team in the past 48 hours, leaving the Wasps with only three healthy players.
In intercollegiate tennis, a team must have a minimum of four players in order to play a match.
Lynchburg College will be credited with a 5-0 win over Emory & Henry.
The Wasps finish the 2013-14 season with a 3-14 record and a 1-9 mark in ODAC play.
