Virginia Beach (Nov. 3, 2008) - Junior Jeff Casassa led the Emory & Henry men's cross country team to an eighth place finish at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship.
Casassa finished in 24th place with a time of 26:48.70. He was followed by E&H sophomore Cameron Taylor, who finished 36th with a time of 27:46.80 and William Gardner, who finished 55th with a time of 31:30.20. First-year student Chris Caruana finished in fourth for the Wasps and 56th overall with a time of 31:58.50, and sophomore William Garrison finished in 61st place with a time of 34:00.50.
The meet was won by Lynchburg College, which also had the first-place runner, Ricky Flynn, who finished the course with a time of 24:56.35.
