EMORY, Va. (Nov. 13, 2010) -- The Emory & Henry men's basketball team fell to the Quakers of Guilford College 57-99 in one of a string of set-backs for the team.
The Wasps mounted a competitive effort for the first five minutes of the game before the Quakers launched a dominating offensive effort.
Terrance Griggs led the way for the Wasps with 12 points while Bobby Stafford had six rebounds. The Wasps (2-17, 0-6 ODAC) look to turn their season around as they travel to Richmond to face Randolph Macon Saturday.
The loss was the fifth in a row for the Emory & Henry team. On Saturday, the team also fell to conference rival Hampden-Sydney, 75-89.
JD Dyson led the Wasps with 24 points followed by Griggs and Josh Cunningham, who each scored 14.
