E&H Defeats Roanoke by Five

EMORY, Va. (Feb. 20, 2010) -- The Emory & Henry men's basketball team concluded its regular season of play with a Senior Day victory over conference foe Roanoke College.

The 96-91 victory came with the help of Terrance Grigg, who scored a game high 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Teammate Josh Rigney scored 24 points and connected on seven of 10 three-point shots. Noah Hayden scored a career high 13 points.

The day honored E&H seniors J.D. Dyson and Josh Brown. While Brown was unable to play due to injury, Dyson celebrated the day with a career high 12 assists and 15 points. He also helped out with five steals.

The win gives  the Wasps, who have been struggling through most of the season, a boost as they head into next week's Old Dominion Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament in Salem.
