Biography
Emory & Henry's JD Dyson, who scored 18 points against LaGrange, missed his first foul shot of the season after notching an E&H record 43 consecutive successful free throws. The previous E&H record for consecutive successful free throws was 26, set in 1980.
Dyson returns to the Wasps for his senior season after appearing in all 26 games during the 2008-2009 season, starting 15. Dyson led the team in assists and averaged 7.1 points a game. Dyson scored a season high 20 points at UVA-Wise on 12/1/08, including going 8-8 from the Free Throw line.
The Wasps look for Dyson to have his best season yet while providing strong leadership and endless energy.
