James Westfall is entering his first year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Emory & Henry College. Westfall will provide coverage for the E&H football, men’s basketball and baseball teams.

Prior to coming to Emory, Westfall was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Adams State College, from 2008 to 2011. While with the Grizzlies, he worked with men’s and women’s basketball, and ASC’s national powerhouse cross country and track & field programs.

Westfall got his start as a Graduate Assistant and later an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UNC Pembroke where he worked closely with men’s basketball, wrestling, cross country and track & field from 2005 to 2008.

Westfall earned a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY-Brockport in 2004 and his master’s degree from UNC Pembroke in 2006. He resides in Abingdon.
