Melissa Davis is entering her second year as Head Athletic Trainer at Emory & Henry College and her fifth year as a staff member.

In addition to overseeing the operations of the Athletic Training Department, Davis serves as the Athletic Trainer for the women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, women's basketball and softball teams at E&H.

Prior to coming to Emory, Davis served three years as Head Athletic Trainer at Tennessee High School in Bristol, Tenn.

Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory & Henry in 2002, where she also was a pitcher on the Wasps' softball team. She received her Master of Arts degree in 2005 from East Tennessee State University. A native of Richlands, Va., Davis  now resides in Chilhowie.
